Derwent Academy Watercolour Pencils are very versatile. They can be used dry as an ordinary colour pencil but just brush on a little water to create a fluid watercolour painting.
Perfect pad for sketching and drawing.
Watercolour Pad specifically designed for watercolour pencils and paints.
Derwent Inktense pencils are our best watercolour pencil ever! You can use them dry but mix them with water and WOW! the colour turns into vibrant ink. Once it’s dry the colour is fixed and you can work over the top of it, and, because it permanent it’s great for using on fabric such as silk and cotton!
72 pure, vibrant colours plus a non-soluble outliner | Water-soluble | Round 8mm barrel | Wide 4mm core
Great watercolours pencils that offer the control of a coloured pencil and can be mixed with water to create interesting colour flows. They’re not as bright as Inktense pencils and blocks so they’re ideal if you like to do more subtle watercolour paintings. The soft texture of the core makes them easy to blend and layer and you can create a variety of effects by adding water, from bold images to delicate washes. Watercolour pencils are not permanent so once the colour is dry you can re-wet it and move it about again.
The Derwent Watersoluble Sketching Pencil has a wide strip which is great for quick drawings. Add water to gently dissolve the graphite for line and wash sketches and watch your art take on a new, softer feel!
We’ve created 3 easy to use wash strengths for you; light, medium and dark which will help you bring great depth to your sketches.
3 wash strengths | Round 8mm barrel | Wide 4mm graphite core | Water-soluble
Pure water-soluble graphite in a stick!
There are so many things you can do with Derwent Watersoluble Graphitone; use it like a graphite pencil, peel off the wrapper to use the stick whole, or break it into chunks to create broad sweeps of tone really quickly. Just add water and watch the graphite dissolve to create line and wash sketches. You can choose from 4 wash strengths from a light to a very dark wash.
4 wash strengths | Water-soluble | Round 7mm stick of pure graphite | 100% useable material
Pastels are usually all about getting your hands dirty but not with Derwent Pastel Pencils. The wide colour strip is powdery and soft so mixing and blending is really easy and because it's encased in wood you get the pastel effect without the mess (if you can resist using your fingers to blend!)
72 vibrant colours | Naturally water-soluble | Round 8mm barrel | Wide 4mm core
There’s nothing worse than a blunt pencil!
As if by magic we can make things disappear without leaving any nasty smudge marks behind.
All our erasers (and we have lots!) have been created with you in mind. We have easy to hold shaped and pen erasers, kneadable erasers for lifting out areas of unwanted colour and a battery operated eraser which is the last word in speed and precision.
