The TruSens difference

Do you know what’s in your air? Most air purifiers don't measure air quality or provide feedback. This may leave you wondering if purified air is actually being delivered throughout the room. Our engineers solved this by creating the TruSens system.

Senses Pollutants

Benefit from clean air everywhere, not just near the air purifier. Placed across the room, SensorPod measures pollutants and communicates results back to the air purifier.

Remote sensing is the best way to accurately measure dust, allergens, and common pollutants in your room. SensorPod measures air quality and continuously transmits that data. TruSens air purifier displays the air quality readings and adapts output levels accordingly.

Responds to your air

Know when your air is good, moderate or poor. The illuminated, colour-coded display communicates good, moderate or poor air quality and a numeric value provides a greater level of detail. This gives you peace of mind that TruSens air purifier is responding and doing its job.

TruSens air purifier adapts to the ever-changing air quality conditions in a room by automatically adjusting its fan speed. You can choose to override the automatic fan speed control by placing the air purifier in manual mode at any time.

Dual Airflow Technology

PureDirect dual airflow uses two streams of air without directing the airflow at people in the room. The result of rigorous testing has proven that bi-directional airflow delivers purified air more effectively throughout a room and more efficient than traditional air purifiers with vertical airflow.

The technology was developed with our engineering partners in Europe and in collaboration with major universities in both the United States and Europe. The result is a proprietary solution that uniquely combines filter media, air straighteners and an air separator to deliver optimal results.

4 Levels of Purification

The filter is at the core of purifying your air. The 360 degree DuPont™ filtration has been engineered to capture microscopic particles, allergens, volatile organic components (VOC’s), and odorous gases.

*Washable Pre-Filter – captures large particles such as dust and pet hair.

Activated carbon – removes certain gases and odors from the air

HEPA filter – captures particulate matter down to 0.3 microns, smaller than a strand of hair.

UV-C Light - emits light that reduces the growth of germs and bacteria that can get trapped in the filter.

*For Z-2000 and Z-3000 only

Captures and Destroys Pollutants

Invisible airborne organisms get trapped in air filters, which could multiply if left untreated. TruSens UV-C emits light at an effective wavelength to help reduce the growth of particulates, preventing re-circulation of live germs.

FAQ
1. Will Z-2000 and Z-3000 still work without SensorPod?

Yes, the Z-2000 and the Z-3000 can operate in manual mode without the SensorPod air quality monitor.  In auto-mode, paired with SensorPod, the Z-2000 and Z-3000 purifiers adapt to the air quality readings and optimise the air quality in the room.

2. Why buy a purifier that is rated higher than your room size?

Air purifiers often have a recommended room size to guide the purchase decision. The rating is based on how many times the air in a room gets turned over. Buying a larger purifier means that it can turn the air in a smaller room more frequently.  This may be especially helpful for people with higher sensitivities to air pollution.

3. When to change the filters or UV light?

The air purifier is equipped with filter replacement indicators that will notify user when it is time to replace the Carbon or HEPA filter, or the UV light. Plan on replacing:

Carbon filter – roughly every 3-4 months
HEPA filter – roughly every 12-15 months
UV light – roughly every 1-3 years
